Obstetrics/Prenatal Care

Prenatal care is delivered to expectant mothers and their soon-to-be child by our highly qualified physicians with a special interest in obstetrical services at Carewell Medical Clinic. Prenatal services are offered by our physicians to give you the best possible start and to deal with any issues concerning you or your baby that may arise during your pregnancy. We provide postnatal and post-delivery care as well.

Carewell Medical Clinic is committed to expediting a return to work policy to ensure the unnecessary loss of work time. We provide disability management services specifically for occupational injuries, with specific emphasis on immediate (i.e. same day services). We are knowledgeable with WCB processes. Feel free to contact our management team to facilitate a specific clinic to company relationship. This will ensure a direct affiliation with your company and your employees. We will commit priority bookings for work related injuries.

Diagnostic Imaging

We can provide referrals to fast track any diagnostic imaging (ultrasound, x-ray, mammogram, bone density scans, etc.) that you may need to have performed. All of these tests are performed in Calgary and the surrounding area. We are confident that this expedited process will ensure a peace of mind environment for patients and their families. Due to the proximity of the imaging center to our clinic as well as a direct line of communication between the radiologists and the physicians at Oasis Medical Centre we expect a short turnaround time for diagnostic results.

Men's Health

Men can confidentially address their health concerns with one of our medical professionals. Issues of libido, andropause and general gender-specific issues are a crucial aspect of our practice. A specific blood test including a PSA level as well a testosterone level is routinely done to determine the nature and extent of the health concern.

Diagnostic imaging can be helpful in determining the presence of cancer. Bridlewood Medical Center can provide you with referrals to a specific specialty to help in the management of your health.

Cancer is more easily dealt with when it is diagnosed and caught early so treatment can begin immediately. We can provide you the information necessary for administering self-exams for some types of cancer. However, the best prevention is by living a healthy lifestyle to lower or eliminate any factors that may increase your risk. Cardio-Respiratory Services

Carewell Medical Clinic works in partnership with Respiratory Homecare Solutions (RHS) to provide patients with immediate access to cardio-respiratory services at select Oasis locations. RHS is locally owned and operated and is Alberta’s largest and fastest growing cardio-respiratory provider.
